Here is a list places to visit in Southern Tasmania that tourist and locals may not know about but I find interesting.

The Rosetta Steps
On Michele Ct Rosetta there is a big set of steps that lead to Gentile Ct. The steps are great for exercising and at the top there are fantastic views of the bay.

Waverley Flora Park Cliff Edge
At the Waverley Flora Park you can walk around to the cliff edge which has nice views of Mornington and Warrane. There has been a fence installed but if you are careful you can hope over it and sit on the rocks.

Mt Direction Lookout
A lesser known Mountain of Southern Tasmania it can be accessed from the Risdon Brook Dam Park and once at the top there are fantastic views. Directions to get to the top can be found here https://www.greaterhobarttrails.com.au/tracks/mt-direction-track
Under The Bowen Bridge
At the start of the Bowen Bridge on the Goodwood side take the steps that lead under the bridge and there is a nice place to sit and relax. You do hear the sounds of cars going over the bridge but if you can stand that then this is a cool little place to be. You can also walk along near the water towards Prince of Wales Bay.

Stony Point Drive Walkway Austins Ferry
A new walkway has opened off Stony Point Drive Austins Ferry. It has great views of the bush land and quite a few steps to climb so great for exercising. The new sub division there is also a fun walk.
